- Open the Website Speed Checker.
- Enter a public page URL beginning with `https://` or `http://`.

Understand Core Web Vitals
Core Web Vitals focus on loading, responsiveness, and visual stability. A page can have a good overall score while still needing work on one important user experience signal, so review the individual recommendations instead of relying on one number.
Mobile and desktop results are different
Mobile tests use different device and network assumptions than desktop tests. Test both when most of your audience uses phones or when the page has responsive layouts, large images, or interactive features.
Improve the highest-impact issues first
Start with oversized images, render-blocking resources, slow server responses, layout shifts, and large unused scripts. Test the same URL again after each meaningful change so you can see whether the improvement is real.
